MEET PETER
Peter Antonucci was a commercial litigator in the New York City offices of two of the largest law firms in the world before retiring from his partnership at age 52. Then, Peter decided to dive into a world of decadence, opulence, entitlements, and elitism, and exclusivity.
For his next chapter, Peter became a co-owner and Member of the Board of Directors aboard The World, the world’s largest residential yacht. Spending nine to ten months a year at sea, he has explored all seven continents on numerous occasions, and visited over 1000 cities in 100 countries. Peter holds a Guinness Book of World Records certificate for having been a passenger and part-owner of a boat that traveled to 78°43’-99.7” S, 163° 41’ 42.1” W in 2017, the southernmost point ever reached by a vessel. His travels inspired his critically acclaimed series, Billionaires at Sea. The first book, Billionaire’s Paradise: Ecstasy at Sea was released in 2019. Scandal at Sea: Billionaires in the Deep was released in 2022, and became a bestseller that same year. The third, and final, installment in the trilogy, Tides of Betrayal: Scandal on the Waves, was released in December 2023 and also became an instant bestseller. Peter’s trilogy – and his travels aboard The World – were recently featured on CNN, Business Insider, The New York Post, and dozens of other news sources. The series is now under development for a streaming series.
Peter then turned his literary attention to Palm Beach, a world known for its glamour, scandal, and carefully hidden hypocrisy. After nearly a decade inside its orbit, Peter has pulled back the curtain of the façade of parties and perfection. His latest novel, A Palm Beach Affair, is a heartwarming and quietly subversive story of two people who find one another through a mischievous puppy and a shared impatience with Palm Beach’s well-polished notorious hypocrisy.
As an attorney, Peter served as national coordinating counsel in hundreds of class action consumer fraud cases, antitrust and bankruptcy law, was a national expert in punitive damages – a field in which he was involved in cases before the United States Supreme Court - and served as special counsel to several major US companies in areas of corporate governance and criminal/internal investigations.
Peter has two children, Alexander and Nicole. He currently resides in Palm Beach, FL a with his wife, Tami, and their dog Daisy, and their horses, Vera & Lucy.
